CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 08-091 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />THE LAKE ELMO CITY CODE <br />OF ORDINANCES BY <br />ADDING A VMX — VILLAGE <br />MIXED USE ZONING <br />DISTRICT TO THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE <br />Section 1: Ordinance 08-091 The <br />City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. <br />08-091, which adopts the Village <br />Mixed -Use (VMX) zoning district <br />into the City's Zoning Code and <br />includes the following provisions: <br />• The ordinance establishes the <br />purpose of the VMX zoning <br />district. <br />• The ordinance establishes <br />permitted and conditional uses within <br />the VMX zoning district. <br />• The ordinance specifies <br />dimensional and building bulk <br />requirements in the VMX district. <br />• The ordinance includes general site <br />design provisions that specifically <br />relate to the mixed -use areas. <br />• The ordinance includes standards <br />for specific use classifications within <br />the VMX zoning district. <br />• The ordinance establishes design <br />review procedures and integrates <br />the Lake Elmo Design Standards <br />Manual by reference. <br />• The ordinance specifies <br />dimensional and bulk requirements <br />for accessory structures and <br />standards for accessory uses within <br />the VMX zoning district <br />The full text of Ordinance No. 08- <br />091 is available for Inspection at <br />Lake Elmo city hall during regular <br />business hours. <br />Section 2: Effective Date: This <br />ordinance shall become effective <br />immediately upon adoption and <br />publication. <br />ADOPTION DATE: Passed by the <br />Lake Elmo City Council on the 6th <br />day of November, 2013. <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 1, Smith <br />/s/ Mike Pearson, Mayor <br />Attest: /a/ Adam Bell, City Clerk <br />(Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review: Nov. <br />13, 2013) <br />
