CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNCIL MEMBER TO <br />FILL VACANCY <br />WHEREAS, Nicole Park was duly elected to the office of Council Member, for the <br />period of January 3, 2011 to January 5, 2015; and <br />and WHEREAS, Council Member Nicole Park resigned from the Council on June 18, 2013; <br />WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Council, and Minnesota State Law requires the <br />position be filled in a timely manner; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has advertised the Council vacancy, and the City <br />Council has considered the several applicants who applied and has decided whom it deems best <br />to fill the Council vacancy. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lake Elmo City Council of Lake <br />Elmo, Minnesota, hereby appoints Mike Reeves to the Council for the remainder of the term <br />previously held by Council Member Nicole Park, and her appointment shall expire on January 5, <br />2015. <br />ADOPTED BY THE AELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE SIXTEENTH DAY OF <br />JULY 2013. <br />=I <br />Mike Pearson <br />Mayor <br />Adam BellF' <br />City Clerk <br />
