ORDINANCE 8038 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1990 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR LAKE ELMO, <br />MINNESOTA BEFORE RECEIVING COMMENTS FROM SURROUNDING LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, <br />SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND METROPOLITAN AND/OR STATE AGENCIES SO AS TO PROVIDE <br />GUIDANCE IN PLANNING AND ZONING ISSUES FOR THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has spent considerable time developing <br />a new Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission has completed a plan, held <br />public hearings on the matter, and recommended a new Comprehensive Plan to <br />the City Council for approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. THAT, the Lake Elmo City Council adopts the 1990 Comprehensive <br />Plan in order to provide policy direction and guidance for several <br />imminent planning and zoning decisions the City currently faces. <br />2. THAT, the City Council directs the City Administrator to submit <br />the 1990 Lake Elmo Comprehensive Plan to surrounding local governments, <br />school districts and metropolitan and/or state agencies for review and <br />comments. Comments will be received up until December 3, 1990 and will be <br />studied and considered for incorporation into the 1990 Comprehensive Plan <br />by the Planning Commission and the City Council after all comments have <br />been made. <br />Adopted this 21st day of August, 1990 bathe City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo. h,_ °�-- <br />Susan Dunn, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Mary Ktieffn-City Administrator <br />
