Motion passed 5 - 0. <br />ITEM 11: 8930 Jane Road North Variance <br />City Planner Hetzel presented the request for a second curb cut to accommodate an additional <br />driveway that would provide access to a recently constructed garage. Hetzel reviewed the site <br />conditions and limitations created by the slope of the property. <br />Applicant Valerie Brass commented on the site and challenges due to the slope and mature trees. <br />Councilmember Dorschner, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOLUTION 2022-052, APPROVING THE REQUEST WITH CONDITIONS FROM <br />BILL AND VALERIE BRASS FOR A VARIANCE TO PAVE A SECOND CURB CUT <br />(DRIVEWAY) ON THE PROPERTYLOCATED AT 8930 JANE ROAD N. Motion passed 5 <br />—0. <br />ITEM 12: Accept Bids and Award Contract for The Tapestry Sanitary Sewer Extension, <br />Declare Costs to be Assessed and Call for Hearing on Proposed Improvement <br />City Engineer Griffin reviewed the scope of the project, project improvements, potential future <br />service areas and related oversizing costs, estimated project costs and proposed assessments. <br />Councilmember McGinn, seconded by Councilmember Holtz, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOL UTIONNO. 2022-049, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT TO A- <br />1 EXCAVATING, LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF $795, 795.00 FOR THE TAPESTRY <br />SANITARYSEWER EXTENSION.
