LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />June 7, 2022 <br />Councilmember McGinn, seconded by Councilmember Holtz, moved TO ADOPT <br />RESOLUTION 2022-057, APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP) FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OFA SWIMMING POOL AND FITNESS CENTER WITH THE <br />LISTED CONDITIONS BASED ON THE FINDINGS LISTED IN THE STAFF REPORT. <br />Motion passed 5 - 0 <br />ITEM 15: Resolution Callim for Public Hearing Relating to the Tax Abatement Projects <br />for 2022 Bonding <br />Finance Director Magureanu presented an overview of tax abatement projects to be financed by <br />the issuance of 2022A Bonds. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Beckstrom, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2022-058. A RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE <br />TAXABATEMENT. Motion passed 5 — 0. <br />ITEM 16: Comprehensive Plan Amendment for 110 Acres of City Owned Property at 34th <br />Street & Ideal Avenue <br />Planning Director Just presented proposed amendments to the City's comprehensive plan to <br />expand the MUSA Boundary and other relevant sections to allow for development of the property <br />at 34' Street and Ideal Avenue. <br />Councilmemberporschner, seconded by Councilmember Beckstrom, moved TOADOPTA <br />RESOL UTIONAPPRO VING THE SUBJECT AMENDMENTS TO THE FUTURE LAND <br />USE PLAN RE- GUIDING APPROXIMA TEL Y I10 ACRES OF CITY -OWNED LAND <br />LOCATED NORTH OF34TH STREET AND EAST OF IDEAL AVENUE TO THE LAND <br />USE DESIGNATIONS LISTED IN THE LISTED FINDINGS, BASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDED FINDINGS AND CONDITION OFAPPROVAL. Motion passed 5-0. <br />Councilmember McGinn, seconded by Councilmember Dorschner, moved TO ADOPT A <br />RESOL UTION APPRO VING THE NECESSARYAMENDMENTS TO THE 2040 LAKE <br />ELMO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (INCLUDING THOSE TO THE LAND USE PLAN, <br />MUSA BO UNDARIES AND WASTEWATER SERVICES PLAN) TO ADD THE <br />APPROXIMATELY 110 ACRES OF CITY OWNED LAND LOCATED NORTH OF 34TH <br />STREET AND EAST OF IDEAL AVENUE TO THE CITY'S SANITARY SEWER AREA <br />AND AUTHORIZE CITY STAFF TO SUBMIT THE PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLANAMENDMENTS TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL.
