Storage — Storage for items or products associated with the Animal Inn business. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />A public hearing was sent to surrounding property owners on March 13th, 2024, and published in the <br />Stillwater Gazette on March 15th, 2024. City Staff received 12 written public comments after the <br />Planning Commission meeting in support of the business and applications. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />The Planning Commission reviewed both requests at their March 25th 2024 meeting. The Commission <br />voted to recommend approval of the requests (Vote 4-0). <br />OPTIONS: <br />The City Council may: <br />• Approve the request. <br />• Approve the request with conditions. <br />• Deny the request. Citing findings of fact for denial. <br />RECCOMENDATION: <br />Staff recommend the City Council approve both the conditional use permit amendment and variance <br />request. Below is the recommended motion: <br />"Move to adopt Resolution 2024-043 approving variances for the Animal Inn property located at 861.1 <br />341 Street N with the findings and conditions listed in the staff report. " <br />AND <br />"Move to adopt Resolution 2024-044 approving a conditional use permit amendment for Animal Inn <br />property located at 8611 34rh Street N with the findings and conditions listed in the staff report.
