Lake Elmo Parks System Plan
79 / 79
develop. I would also like to see the City of Lake Elmo's park master plan make a strong case
for advocating for the role of parks and trails in the City! I think the combination of rapid
development (fastest growing city in MN!) and still plentiful undeveloped/unprotected land
(mostly ag, but some forested areas too) does create a really unique and powerful moment for
this Parks Master Plan to be created in. I'd love to see Lake Elmo have bold vision for for
parks and trails which could prope l Lake Elmo to being the *most livable* city in the state via a
robust and ambitious park master plan!
141 It would be nice if adding something to make our quality. Things added have been of very low
quality work and eye sores.
11/20/2023 9:43 AM
142 Set up times to visit each park and meet residents. Have specific work days when Park
Commissioners and residents can volunteer to do projects at the parks . Like staining the
warming house at Lions Park, planting and caring for newly planted trees. It was nice to see
the new trash & recycling containers in the parks .
11/18/2023 11:10 AM
143 Four square lines sat more parks. Sustainable funding to continually improve park system. 11/18/2023 11:06 AM
144 Because I have not lived in the area long, I have not had ample opportunity to visit parks in
Lake Elmo. Ho wever, I will be doing so. Outdoor space is important.
11/17/2023 11:23 PM
145 Use tartan park ball field money to build a multi field complex like was originally envisioned. 11/17/2023 10:06 PM
146 Would enjoy more basketball courts in general 11/17/2023 10:01 PM
147 I know that mountain biking has become popular (I even participate), but placing trails in
Sunfish Lake Park was a terrible idea. The uniqueness of Sunfish Lake Park was its natural
beauty and rural like quiet and peacefullness. That ambiance was ruined by the bike trails.
Bike trails should have been built elsewhere.
11/17/2023 8:01 PM
148 We would like to see a disc golf course as our adult children and grandchildren play and it
would great to stay local and not have to drive so far to play
11/17/2023 5:59 PM
149 Would like to see Basketball court at Ivywood, Stonegate, Hammes, or Goose Lake. Also ice
skating rinks
11/17/2023 5:25 PM
150 Thank you!11/17/2023 3:47 PM
151 N/A 11/16/2023 1:07 PM
195
