August 27th, 2024: CUP, Minor Subdivision, and Variance Submittal Landscape Plan Review <br />LOCATION: 820 Manning Avenue, Lake Elmo MN 55042 <br />CURRENT LAND USE CATEGORY: Public Facilities (PF) <br />ADJACENT AND SURROUNDING LAND USE: Golf Course Community to the north, Rural <br />Residential to the north and west, Medium Density Residential to the west and south, Rural <br />Transitional to the south. West Lakeland Township is to the east. <br />SPECIAL LANDSCAPE PROVISIONS: Shoreland Overlay District for Rose Lake along the <br />northwest 2/3 of the site <br /> <br />TREE PRESERVATION PLAN: 105. 12. 470 <br />• A tree preservation plan was submitted, but requires the following adjustments prior to approval: <br />o Sheet C100 shows tree protection fencing in the legend, but not on the plans. Please include <br />this fencing on the plans and add the City Standard Detail for tree protection to this sheet or <br />refer to it if placed elsewhere within the set. <br />o Rename sheet C500 with the title “Tree Preservation Plan” and revise the sheet callouts in <br />each quadrant with the appropriate numbers (C501, C502, or L100, L101 etc.) <br />o Revise the tree inventory on sheet C505 to remove the following species from the table, as <br />they are not considered significant: Siberian elm, box elder, and Eastern cottonwood. <br />o Revise the total significant inches number on sheets C500 and C505. Edit calculation of <br />percent inches removed accordingly.
