CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />AUGUST 6, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Charles Cadenhead and Councilmembers, Nick Dragisich and Nick Kragness. <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Matt Hirn and Jeff Holtz <br /> <br />Staff present: Administrator Miller, Community Development Director Stopa, Fire Chief Kalis, <br />Public Works Director Powers, City Attorney Sonsalla, City Engineer Stanley and City Clerk <br />Johnson <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Dragisich, seconded by Councilmember Kragness, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 3 – 0. <br /> <br />ACCEPT MINUTES <br /> <br />Councilmember Kragness, seconded by Councilmember Dragisich, moved TO ACCEPT THE <br />MINUTES OF THE JULY 8, 2025 WORKSHOP AND JULY 25, 2025 REGULAR AND <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 3 – 0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS/INQUIRIES <br /> <br />Denise Elliot and Toni Ziton commented on lake water levels and shoreline issues in the tri lakes <br />area and asked if a no wake zone can be marked in the lake. <br /> <br />Jill Lundgren, 8282 Hidden Bay Trail N., noted that she will no longer be running the farmers <br />market and noted that the group is in need of volunteers. Ms. Lundgren also asked that the city’s <br />Environmental Committee be brought back and asked the city evaluate the lake levels on the tri <br />lakes. <br /> <br />PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />2. Approve Payment of Disbursements and Payroll <br />3. Approve Special Event Permit Neighborhood Social Event <br />4. Approve Special Event Permit for Ride to End ALZ
