Motion passed 3 - 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 13: Trash Haulers Hours of Operation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Stopa presented a request from Tennis Sanitation for a change <br />in the city ordinance to allow trash haulers to begin collection earlier in the day. Director Stopa <br />also reviewed trash collection hours in other cities. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kragness, seconded by Councilmember Dragisich, moved TO ADOPT <br />ORDINANCE 2023-13 AMENDING THE CITY CODE AS PRESENTED BY STAFF. <br />Motion passed 3 – 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 14: Approve City Sponsored 100 Year Anniversary Celebration <br /> <br />Discussion was held concerning activities and costs for the upcoming 100 Year Anniversary <br />celebration event. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dragisich, seconded by Councilmember Kragness, moved TO AUTHORIZE <br />STAFF TO SPEND UP TO $50,000, EXCLUSIVE OF FIREWORKS, FOR THE <br />CELEBRATION. Motion passed 3 – 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 15: Approve City Sponsored Fireworks Display <br /> <br />City Administrator Miller presented information on options for a fireworks or drone show display <br />and alternatives for size and location of the show. <br />Councilmember Dragisich, seconded by Councilmember Kragness, moved TO AUTHORIZE <br />STAFF TO SPEND UP TO $15,000 FOR A FIREWORKS DISPLAY WITH THE FIRE <br />CHIEF DETERMINING THE TYPE OF FIREWORKS AT PREFERRED SITE A. Motion <br />passed 3 – 0. <br />
