To run the testing mobile unit, chemical materials to be brought <br />onsite and temporarily stored for research use. Chemicals will be stored in <br />containers specific to each chemical compound’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS). The <br />SDS will be kept onsite in the project controls shed during the duration of the project <br />and available for inspection. The chemicals are sodium hydroxide and PFAS-specific <br />feed materials for research purposes. <br />I.Management and disposal of effluent liquids. Liquids remaining after the destruction <br />tests will be piped directly to storage in appropriate frac tanks with sampling ports <br />and secondary containment. The effluent will be analytically tested and the results <br />will be used to determine the method of disposal. <br />8.Notification. Supplies and materials will be contained and <br />managed for site access throughout the onsite activities. At the conclusion of <br />research testing using the mobile unit, Bay West will oversee packing, shipping, <br />and off-site transport of research-related equipment and supplies. Totes <br />containing the treated effluent will remain on secondary containment and <br />covered, until analytical tests are completed for determination of disposition.
