Final Plat Submittal, dated 11/18/24, received 12/2/24 <br />REVIEW HISTORY <br />1. 09/12/24 – CUP and Preliminary Plat Landscape Plan Review <br />2. 12/13/24 – Final Plat Landscape Plan Review <br />LOCATION: Northwest corner of the intersection of 10th Street North and Lake Elmo Avenue North <br />CURRENT LAND USE CATEGORY: Public Facilities (PF) <br />ADJACENT AND SURROUNDING LAND USE: PF and Rural Single Family to the north, Rural Single <br />Family to the east, and Rural Single Family and Rural Residential to the south and west (including the <br />gun club) <br />SPECIAL LANDSCAPE PROVISIONS: 750’ sound buffer from adjacent gun club. Exemption request <br />granted for mitigation of owner-planted trees. Council approved $50,000 contribution to the tree fund <br />in lieu of planting 106 mitigation trees. <br /> <br />TREE PRESERVATION PLAN: 105. 12. 470 <br />• A tree preservation plan has been submitted that meets code and can be approved: <br />o The applicant correctly calculated the required common, evergreen, and deciduous inches to be <br />mitigated and the corresponding number of required mitigation trees (132 trees). <br />o City Council granted a $50,000 contribution to the tree fund in lieu of planting 106 of these trees. <br />o The final amount of required mitigation trees is 26. <br />
