Residences were developed to the north of the <br />Property in the early 1950s, to the west and southeast in the early 1960s, and to the south in the late <br />1990s (Ref. 1a). <br /> <br />Historical releases associated with adjacent properties or communit ies: Nearby Superfund sites <br />are being assessed as potential contributing factors to the area wide PFAS contamination, including <br />the Washington County Landfill, located northeast of the Property, and the Oakdale Dump site, <br />located west of the Property. The state has on-going investigations and remedial actions to address <br />the groundwater impacts in the East Metro Area (Ref. 5g). MDH has outlined a special well <br />construction area to reduce exposure risk for PFAS in groundwater (Ref. 5f). <br /> <br />VIII. Site Reconnaissance <br />The objective of the site reconnaissance i s to obtain information indicating the likelihood of <br />identifying recognized environmental conditions in connection with the property (ASTM 1527 -13 <br />Sec 9.1). Existing Property features are shown in the Property layout on Figure 2.
