Description <br />The project scope includes the following improvements at the intersection of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 10 (10th <br />Street) and CSAH 17 (Lake Elmo Avenue). <br />1) improved intersection control- likely with a roundabout or signal <br />2) highway drainage and surface water management <br />3) pedestrian and bicycle facility improvements <br />Preliminary design, along with public engagement, will determine the final project scope, right-of-way acquisition <br />requirements, and cost estimates, which will be included in a future capital improvement plan. <br />Justification <br />Stillwater Public School District is currently constructing a new elementary school in the northwest corner of CSAH 10 and <br />CSAH 17.
