CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-002 <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE STILLWATER GAZETTE AS THE CITY’S OFFICIAL <br />NEWSPAPER <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 412.831 states that a city council shall annually <br />at its first meeting of the year, designate a local newspaper of general circulation in the city as its <br />official newspaper for the publication of ordinances and other matters that are required by law and <br />deemed advisable by the council to be published; and <br />WHEREAS, the Stillwater Gazette is a newspaper of general circulation in the City and <br />the City wishes to designate it as its official newspaper. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council does hereby approve <br />the following: <br />That the City’s official newspaper is the Stillwater Gazette. <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo on this 6th day of <br />January, 2026. <br />_____________________________ <br />Charles Cadenhead, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />___________________________ <br />City Clerk
