This is a staff <br />report serves to update on the progress of the the City Owned 180 acres and outline next steps. <br />DETAILS AND ANALYSIS: <br /> <br />Next steps for staff: <br />• Determine feasibility for sewer and water connection and create a plan with Engineering <br />• Meet with County to discuss access and future projects <br />• AUAR for site <br />• Research land brokers <br />• Create a public engagement process to inform residents about the project and its potential, <br />discover priorities and concerns. Ideas include: <br />o Open house/Event at City Hall <br />o Public Hearings <br />o Survey questions <br />• Work on communications strategy <br />o Messaging on timeline, decisions, community engagement <br />o Create webpage dedicated to project (City Property Page) <br /> <br />Anticipated Timeline: <br />Item Anticipated dates <br />Research January - March <br />City Council Workshop March 10, 206 <br />Community Engagement Spring and ongoing <br />Potentially Market Property Summer/Fall <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />None
