City events require coordination across multiple departments. What staff will be needed for the event? What <br />do you expect staff to provide? Communications and outreach desired. <br />Public safety and Public Works have some concerns with staffing given this year the 4th of July falls on a <br />Saturday. Staff are already expected to come in to provide public safety for the kiddie parade. Staff will <br />provide public safety if an event is added, but we would request to know as soon as possible for requesting <br />staff coverage. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The City Council should provide staff with clear direction on the scope and expectations of staff if an <br />event is added.
