Public Hearing <br />•Mailed to Property Owners within 500’ and pushed on February 23rd, 2026. The Notice was published <br />in the Stillwater Gazette on February 27th, 2026. General public comments as summarized: <br />•Mark Citsay (Carriage Station HOA) – Provided comments regarding/requesting trees boarding <br />the Carriage Station property line and proposed species. <br />•Nathan Campbell 5380 Linden Trl N (Tamarack Farms Estates HOA) – Provided consolidated <br />HOA written comments in support of the open space design and added considerations for 50th <br />street entrance, traffic, vegetative screening, future trail connections, crosswalks, their <br />development’s private park area, and sewer/water. He also spoke at the hearing reiterating the <br />HOA written comments and traffic/safety concerns. <br />•Neil Kreuger (4452 Lake Elmo Ave) – Spoke at the hearing on the scenic beauty of the parcel <br />and family history. He also requested preservation of the Tamarack bog in the area. <br />•Danny Hecker (11658 50th St)– Spoke at the hearing in favor of the development but requested <br />additional landscaping/screening around their parcel.
