Stormwater Utility Code Review <br />HOA Credits <br />HOA Credits <br />•Are there situations in Lake Elmo where HOAs are responsible for maintenance <br />of public stormwater infrastructure? <br />•Staff completed high-level look at several neighborhoods around town with <br />HOAs and found limited information on maintenance, but generally all public <br />infrastructure was owned by the City of Lake Elmo. <br />•In some locations open space with ponds was owned by HOA, but easements <br />covered infrastructure and stormwater treatment areas being maintained by the <br />City. <br />•An evaluation process and methodology would need to be developed to address <br />this issue.
