AS noted that the city <br />wants to work with mndot. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />2. Approve Payment of Disbursements and Payroll <br />3. Post-Issuance Tax Compliance Procedures for Tax Exempt Bonds <br />4. 2012 Crack Seal Project - Pay Request No. 1 (Final) <br />5. Approve Resolution 2012- x01 State of Minnesota Redevelopment Grant <br />Program – A Resolution Accepting the DEED Water System Infrastructure <br />Grant <br />6. Keats MSA Street and Trunk Watermain Improvements - Approve <br />Engineering Design and Construction Support Services Contract 2. Accept Resignation of City Clerk Sandy Thone, and Appoint Adam Bell as <br />City Clerk; Resolution 2012-x02 <br />MOTION: Council Member smith moved to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Council Member <br />Pearson seconded the motion. MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />REGULAR AGENDA <br />ITEM 8: Approve Conditional Use Permit for grading project at 9242 Hudson <br />Boulevard; Resolution 2012-XX Klatt provided an overview on the cup app. Explained the location. Applicant hopes that the expansion of the ski hill would grow his business. Klatt explained that city approval is required due to volume of earth moved, Staff did historical research. There are issues involved with the site. Parking… non-conforming setbacks… watershed dist requirements… Grading approx five acres. Raise height from 1035 to 1070 Impacted property owners has signed off. Klatt explained land/environmental impact and what staff recommends as restrictions. Planning comm. Does recommend council approval with 12 conditions of approval. AS inquired about recent event and noted that there did not appear to be a problem with parking. Applicant explained the parking situation. Parking in back? Joe heinen owner of summit boardshop. A discussion was had explaining the specifics of the actual hill and its potential uses. Smith expressed her pleasure with the offering. Really likes the concept.
