Ordinance 08-015 City Council; 6-16-09 <br />(e) Written authorization from the property owner upon who's land the sign is <br />to be erected (if applicable); and <br />(f) The permit renewal fee. <br />(4) Review. The planning department shall approve or deny complete sign permit <br />applications upon receipt of a complete application. If the permit is denied, the <br />planning department will send a written notice of denial to the applicant. The <br />written notice will indicate the reason(s) for denial and a description of the <br />applicant's appeal rights. <br />(B). Exemptions. <br />The following signs shall not require a permit, but shall still comply with all <br />provisions of this ordinance or any other law or ordinance regulating signs. <br />(1) The changing of the display surface on a previously approved sign. <br />(2) Signs six (6) square feet or less in size, per surface if double sided. <br />(3) Window Signage that does not cover more than 1/3 of the total area of the <br />window in which the sign is displayed <br />(4) Governmental Signage. <br />(C) Fees. <br />The fee for a sign permit is established yearly in the City's adopted fee schedule as <br />indicated in section 11.02. <br />pg 12 <br />
