Ordinance 08-015 City Council: 6-16-09 <br />(B). Allowable Sign Area. The maximum allowable sign area for an individual sign and <br />for total site signage is listed in table 2 by zoning district. [6] <br />[1]: Sign types with shaded cells are prohibited in the applicable zoning district(s). Sign types with a maximum sign <br />area of "C" shall require a conditional use permit. <br />[2]: Ground, monument, or pole signs, where permitted, shall be limited to one (1) per commercial establishment. <br />[3]: All sign types in residential districts shall have no more than two (2) surfaces. <br />[4]: The gross surface of an awning or canopy sign shall not exceed 30% of the gross surface area of the smallest <br />face of the awning or canopy of which the sign is to be affixed. <br />[5]: On any wall parallel or substantially parallel to a public roadway, the gross surface area of a wall sign shall not <br />exceed 0.75 square feet for each lineal foot of building facing the applicable roadway. For walls not facing a <br />public roadway, the maximum wall sign size shall be twelve (12) square feet. <br />[6]: Open sales lots or other approved uses on lots without a building shall be limited to thirty (30) square feet of <br />total sign surfaces. <br />p9 27 <br />
