City of Lake Elmo Washington County, Minnesota Ordinance 8100 AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO TO INCLUDE CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY ABUTTING THE CITY LIMITS NOT EXCEEDING 60 ACRES UPON PETITION FOR ANNEXATION FROM ALL OF THE PROPERTY OWNERS THEREOF (WALTER AND GLADYS GOETSCHEL) PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTE 414.033 SUBD. 2 (3) WHEREAS, certain territory described below is not presently included within the corporate limits of any incorporated City; and WHEREAS, the territory described below is less than 60 acres in area; and WHEREAS, the territory described below abuts upon the City limits at the west boundary thereof and is deemed to become suburban in character; and WHEREAS, a certain Petition dated June 3, 1994, requesting annexation of the territory described below was duly presented to this Council on the 21st day of June, 1994; and WHEREAS, the Petition was signed by all owners of the territory described below. WHEREAS, the Baytown Township Board of Supervisors resolved at a meeting on July 11, 1994, to support this annexation request. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota ordains: Section 1. Determination of Facts: The City Council hereby determines: (1) That the territory described below abuts upon the City limits and is deemed to become suburban in character. (2) The City has received a petition for annexation from all of the property owners (to wit:: Walter and Gladys Goetschel) of the territory described below. Part of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 7, Township 29, Range 20 lying NLY and WLY of road now known as State Trunk Highway 5 except the S 100 feet. Part of the Southwest 114 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 7, Township 29, Range 20, being the south 1195 feet lying West of road State Highway except S 135 feet.
