The representative for the saddle club Mrs. Wayne Swan-
son presented the matter to the residents of Juniper. She explained
that ehye would erect a fence and bleachers. Tha area would be about
140 x 50 ft.
Residents each inbis turn voiced their objections to the use of the_
property for this purpose. In general the objection was for the large
group and the mess that would result in the area which is essentially
their front yard and view from the front of their homes. It was felt
that it would be impossible to entertain and live a normal Sunday
under thwse conditions.
The council considered both side of the question and after about a
ten minute discussion the council ruled in favor of the residents
and refused the request of the saddle club by a vote of 5/0/.
Meeting adjourned at 9:30PM.
