Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Lake Blmo Village Council <br />on April 6, 1968. <br />0ouncil met at 10s30 AM to inspect the Village Streets. <br />Present:Bbne,Goerss,Aberorombie and Meheikomer. <br />The following notes were made. <br />1.0onsider sealing Juniper Ave: <br />2.3rd between Juniper and Kalmia gravel and seal. <br />3,Juniper Street Sign missing at 3rd and Juniper. <br />4.8top sign needs replacing at 6th and Kalmia. <br />5.Oak Street west edge of road in need of repair. <br />Wark Drive Gravel on west half. <br />7,Need stop sign at 7th and rose. <br />8,North Shore Drive and hose Street sign in neei of repair. <br />9 0atohinr required on North Shore Drive. <br />10.11th and 9th otrrets need edge work done. <br />Trustee Bbne was instructed to get Whifsky and het estimates for the <br />proposed work by the next meeting. <br />Clerk advised to determine what amount of money may be available for <br />haying all or any part of this work done this year, <br />Meeting adjourned at 11130,A.M. <br />Special meetin UnKas� Monday April 8, 1968 <br />PresentsRrookman,AbercrombiegBbne,Goersas and Meheikomer. <br />The Vali-Hi Saddle Club and the residents of Juniper Ave were on hand <br />to discuss the possibility of using the Neilsen Property for Sunday <br />,x Horse Shows. The representative for the saddle club Mrs. Wayne Swan- <br />son presented the matter to the residents of Juniper. She explained <br />that ehye would erect a fence and bleachers. The area would be about <br />140 x 50 ft, <br />Residents each inhie turn voiced their objections to the use of the <br />property for this purpose. In general the objection wao for the large <br />group and the mess that would result in the area which is essentially <br />their front yard and, View from the front of their homes. It was felt <br />that it would he impossible to entertain and live a normal Sunday <br />under thwee conditions. <br />The council considered both side of the question and after about a <br />ten minute discussion the council ruled in favor of the residents <br />and refused the request of the saddle club by a vote of 5/04 <br />Meeting adjourned at 9s30PM. <br />
