Carried 4/0. <br />Motion by Abercrombie 2nd by Ebne that the OFF SALE license for the year <br />1970 be approved for the Twin Point Tavern and Ben's Elmo Inn. Carried 4/0. <br />Motion by Trustee Boorman 2nd by Trustee Ebne that the limit4d use "ON. <br />SALE" liquor license be issued to VFW Post 5725 for the year 1970 at the <br />reduced rate of $500.00. Carried 4/-, <br />Regular OIV-SALE license set at $1,000, OFF -SALE $100. Sunday 0200.00. <br />Motion by Trustee Ebne 2nd by Trustee Abercrombie that the cigarette <br />license applications for the following be approved. Bents Elmo Inn, <br />Twin Point Tavern, VFW 57259 Lake Elmo Oil, and Hagberg's Grocery. 4/0. <br />Fire Chief James EJorkman presented a list of fire calls that were the <br />cause of the ra,iioroad and requested that the clerk mail an invoice to <br />the railroad bas6d on a, rate of $100.per call plus $100 for each part <br />of an hour over the first hour. <br />Chief also requested permissiion to sell an excess generator for $50. <br />Purchase price was $7. Permission granted. <br />Clerk instructed tc write Karth, Mondale and McCarthy regarding the pro. <br />posed. legislation on tax-free bonds. <br />Several names were suggested as members of the new police board.They <br />were FRan Pott, Ray Krongard, and 7inchl.a,g. Mayor to get two fot <br />the board and advise `the clerk so that the village clerk and the town <br />clerk can set up a joint meeting of the two appointees from the village <br />and the two appointees from the Township. <br />Ordinances covering Dutch Elm and dead tree removalyGa.s Burne4,Plumbing, <br />Individual Wells and Individual sewage have been prepared but will <br />await publishing until the basic new form of government zwxAxkx ordin- <br />ante can be prepared and published as the lot new Ordinance for the New <br />Village of Lake Elmo, <br />Max Ahlgren advised the council that the Villatge now had a new youth <br />center located in the addition to Christ Luthern Church.
