Meeting of the lake Elmo Village Council January 19, 1971 Page 3. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, that the office of Constable of this Village be <br />abolished effective at the expiration of the terms of the incumbant <br />Constables, or upon their resignation, and that the Village Attorney <br />be asked to draw up an ordinance therefore to be presented to the <br />Coun.ail for adoption. Approved 4--0* <br />Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilman Shervheim that the <br />Village of lake Elmo adopt the area street naming street numbering <br />program presented by County Surveyor, Donn Peppery and a Committee of <br />three citizens (Robert Mordick,Chtarles Taylor and Mrs. Milton Klueni_n) <br />to be contacted to work together and with the xxx surveyor on the program. <br />Carried 4-0, <br />Councilman Friedrich asked for permission to purchase a ten ton jack <br />at $490; a battery charger at $175 to $6200; torch equipment and tanks <br />at $6200 plus monthly rental of $68.50 for as 2 year contract; an air <br />compressor at $139.50; and a -10drill at $49.00. Motion by Councilman <br />Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Abercrombie that purchase of the equipment <br />be approved. Carried 4-0, <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim that claims 036 thru o46 be approved for <br />payment (list attached). Carried 4-0. <br />Motion by Councilman Friedrich 2nd by Councilman Abercrombie that the <br />meeting be adjourned. at 10:55PM.
