Minutes of the Hearing For the Installation of a '70' Antennae for Use By The Fake Elmo Fire Depatment Base Station. The hearing was opened at 7:00PM on Tuesday December 711971 at the Lake Elmo Village Hall, by Mayor Brookman. Clerk read the notice that was sent to the following landowners having holdings within 250 feet of the property on which the antennae was to be installed. E.H.Leitte Eugene Seidow State Bank of Lake Elmo G.A.Meyer Mercantile Co.. Gorman Barbershop Mrs. Joseph Ervin Mrs.Luella Haseikey Miss Dena Twetten Mr.Ed.gar Menard Wash.Cty Repub. Committee Mr.Ben Gorka Hagberg's Grocery Store Marvin Turner Stillbay Inc. M.M.Williams A post office receipt covering each account listed has been received which verifies delivery of the required notice. Clerk advised that the only acknowledgement received was from Mr. E.H. Leitte in which he .heartily approved the action requested by the fire department. Mayor Brookman three times asked if anyone else wished to be heard for or against the requestt Three times the request met with no respnse. Mayor Brookman adjourned the hearing at 7:10P1VI. Minutes of the Council Meeting December 7, 1971 Mayor Brookman called the meeting to order at 7:15PM. Present:Brookman,Friedrich,Wa-tson,Abercroinbie,Shervhe im,Park & Mehsikomer. Also present:Counsel Raleigh &Engineer Bonestroo. Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by C.Shervheim that the SPECIAL USE REQUEST for a 70' antennae by the Lake Elmo Fire Depatment to be used in conjunction with the high band receiving: and sending station be approved; and since it was a Village requirement and benefit that the special use permit charges be waived. Motion carried 5-0. Motion by C.Abercrombie 2nd by C.Shervheim that the minutes of the Nov. 16,1971 meeting be approved as submitted. Motion carried 5-0. Notice from the City of St. Paul was received relative to a storm sewer which will. be necessary in the Battle Creek area which would convey water from a nur4ber of surrounding communities in the area. A meeting is scheduled for December 13, 1971 at 2:OOPM for discussion on the pos- sible implementation of this project under a joint powers act. Engineer Bonestroo was instructed 'to attend and C.Abercrombie advised that he would attend if he could get away. C.Abercrombie presented Resolution R 71-24 relative to theIlwy 36 Inter change and asked for its approval.. Second by C.Friedrioh Carried 5-0. Motion by C.Watson 2nd by C.Abercrombie to reduce the bond required by Mr. Panasow from $$1,500 to $500. Carried 5-0. Motion by C. Watson 2nd by C.Abercrombie requesting the engineer to make a preliminary report for a road in section 32 from 194 to Minnehaha. Motion carried 5-0.
