ADDITION TO MINUTES OF APRIL 18, 1972 MEETING.
Mayor Brockman raised the question of a dilapidated building located on
Lot 6 of the First- Re -arrangement of Lot 3, Block 3, Lake Elmo Park, according
to the plat thereof. The county auditor's records reveal the property to be
owned by one Howard L. Huebener. After hearing the report of the building
inspector and Mayor Brookman, who investigated the property,Councilman
moved the adoption of the following resolution;
RESOLVED, that it appears that the dilapidated house located on
said Lot 6 is in an extremely hazardous condition. It is a wood frame
structure and the wood is in a rotted and deteriorated condition and is
likely to collapse. The windows are broken out, the doors are broken
off and the building is likely to be entered by children who could be
injured by falling through the rotting flooring. In addition the un-
attended building in such condition is a source of filth and a health
hazard. It is, accordingly, determined by the council that the same
is a nuisance and a hazard and legal counsel is hereby directed to proceed
with the preparation of an order to be issued directing the removal thereof
and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the same by order
of the Council.
f
0'
