MINUTES OF T'IE LAKE P,1210 VILLA.GF COUNCIL P7?FTING AUGUST 19 1972 pg. 2 <br />John Banks appeared regarding a petition filed earlier by certain property owners re- <br />questing that culverts be installed under driveways described in the petition, so that <br />the natural water flow might be restored to prevent flooding of their property. <br />C. Abercrombie moved that letters be sent to the 3 property owners involved,, directing <br />them to install culverts and reopen the ditches bo that the natural water flow wi.11 be <br />restored, and the same be done under the direction of the village engineer, and further <br />informing those property owners that if said work is not completed within 30 days, work <br />will be undertaken by the village and assessed against the nroperty. The village <br />attorney was instructed to write the letters after checking with the village engineer and <br />obtaining the approval of the watershed district. 2nd, by C. Shervheim. Carried 5-0. <br />Clerk Mehsikomer arrived. <br />Counsel Raleigh instructed to check with Atlas Properties regarding the payment of <br />fees for improving the road on Langly Court N. <br />Mbtion by C. Abercrombie 2nd by C. Shervheim to approve payment of bills. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Building code to be on August 15, 1972 agenda at 9:15 PM. Building inspector Friedrich <br />to be asked to be in attendance. <br />Motion by 0. Shervheim 2nd by C. Watson that the wage committee be given authority to <br />approve an increase of up to $.50 for base pay for maintenance man #2. Carried 5-0. <br />Motion by C. Shervheim 2nd by C.
