Proposal Content <br />The contractor shall provide proposed flat rate charges for the work to be performed on the <br />specified units. Potential respondents to this RFP may secure the addresses of the 44 units from <br />the City by written request. It is anticipated that multiple rates will be required to address varying <br />per unit gas service line lengths to be replaced, and varying per unit numbers of appliances <br />served with natural gas unit -by -unit. <br />The contractor should provide a proposed schedule for completion of gas service work to the 44 <br />specified units; the man hours estimated to complete the project; and, the number of contractor's <br />licensed personnel that will be assigned to this project. <br />Contractor Selection <br />One or more contractors will be selected by the City to complete the project. Selection of the <br />contractor(s) will be based upon the sum of the following criteria: <br />1. Contractor's understanding of the tasks proposed above as reflected in the contractor's <br />written proposal. <br />2. Contractor's experience with similar work, particularly with manufactured housing. <br />3. Contractor's proposed charges per unit to complete the required work. <br />4. Contractors submit written proposals by — March10, 2006 <br />3. Lake Elmo Building Inspector will Certify Qualified Contractors by — March 17, 2006 <br />4.
