The soils on this site are a loamy medium send. The seasonally saturated soils were <br />located at 56" & 88" (mottled soil) . The bottom of the treatment area must be located <br />at least 3' above the seasonally saturated soils. A standard trench system may be, <br />installed. <br />A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the septic efiiuent to the treatment, <br />area. The power supply and switches roust be located outside the manhole and <br />pumping chamber in a weather proof enclosure. A warning device must be installed <br />with a light and sound device, this is in case of a pump failure. <br />The existing supply line Will be abandoned & a new supply line installed to the highest <br />trench. The existing drop boxes will be disconnected & new drop boxes installed. <br />A lift pump will be needed for the entire water use in the home to keep.the tanks <br />shallow. A pump will be used in a 24" to 30" riser outside the foundation, 50' from the <br />well & 796from the shoreline. The pump will need to be a dual pump with an alternating <br />relay. An effluent screen is recommended at the outlet of the 2nd tank to prevent solids <br />from entering the pumping chamber. <br />Ali neighboring wells are located greater than 59 away from the proposed treatment <br />area, <br />Keep all heavy equipment off of the proposed treatment area before and after <br />construction. The treatment area should be marked off before construction.
