Nothing other than human waste, toilet tissue, laundry, showers, water softener etc. <br />should be disposed of into the septic tanks, Recommend Iron filters be diverted out of <br />the system. Recommend to divert the water sooner also it the iron filter is diverted. <br />Garbage disposals are not recommended, due to adding more solids & fine solids <br />passing through to the system. Excessive amounts Of soaps, antibacterial soaps, <br />cleaning agents, shower cleaners used ev®ry shower & chlorine agents may kill the <br />bacteria needed to treat septic effluent, Additives are not. recommended. Recommend <br />to pump & clean your tanks through the manhole by a certified pumper every 2 years. <br />Check with your pumper to set up a schedule.
