Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: FINANCE <br />No. 5A <br />City Council <br />12-19-2006 <br />Agenda Item: Miller Variance Refund Request <br />Background Information for December 19, 2006: <br />Attached, please find a letter from Neil and Elizabeth Miller requesting withdrawal of their variance application and <br />refund of $725.00. <br />Neil and Elizabeth Miller submitted a variance application for lot width on a public street, lot size and lot size for <br />septic on October 27, 2006. It is my understanding that many meetings and conversations have taken place in the past <br />2-3 months with the previous City Administrator and City Planner. I am unaware of the results of the previous <br />discussions which makes it difficult to determine the validity of this request. <br />A public hearing was published, public hearing notices mailed, two staff reports written by the Assistant Planner and <br />reports were received from the VBWD, DNR and the City Engineer. A copy of November 27th Planning Commission <br />minutes have been provided for your review.
