Lake Elmo <br />Agenda Section: NEW BUSINESS <br />No. 6A. <br />City Council <br />January 3, 2006 <br />Agenda Item: Employee and Volunteer Recognition Party <br />Background Information for January 3, 2006: <br />In 2004 and 2005 the Lake Elmo Jaycees designated funds for the City's Employee and Volunteer <br />Recognition Party. Per the Finance Director, funding sources have not yet been identified for a 2006 party. <br />The 2005 Recognition party was held at the Wildwood Lodge at an expense of approximately $5,000. The <br />City Attorney can advise the Council as to how City Funds can be used for these types of expenditures. <br />Staff is looking for direction this year. Does the Council wish to hold a recognition party or Council <br />members may have other suggestions. <br />Action Items: <br />Person responsible: <br />Motion , Second , to direct staff on how to <br />S.
