Section 3 — Plan Components <br />Overview <br />The Old Village Plan is broken into a series of `layers" that depict the plan componerits: <br />• districts and Land Use — this drawing reflects the overall organization of the <br />expanded core of the Old Village, identifying where new land uses — both single - <br />use and mixed -use — should be located to strengthen the character of. the <br />existing center. <br />• Green and Blue Layers — this drawing shows the location of the system of parks <br />and open space, both existing and proposed. In addition, it addresses the system <br />of water elements — existing lakes, proposed stormwater ponds or watercourses, <br />and features. <br />• Streets and Blocks — this graphic depicts recommendations for extending the <br />community fabric around the immediate core, suggesting how connections to <br />new neighborhoods are best achieved. <br />• Infrastructure <br />III-9A-7 <br />
