Edina Housing Task Force <br />DRAFT March 2006 <br />The Edina Housing Task Force was con- <br />vened by the Research, Planning and Coor- <br />dination for Human Services Ad Hoc Com- <br />mittee of the Edina Human Rights and Rela- <br />tions Commission (see Appendix A for a <br />list of Task Force members). The Task <br />Force was charged with identifying how and <br />why affordable housing matters to Edina's <br />future and to make practical recommenda- <br />tions that can help Edina meet its 20/20 Plan <br />vision of being the "preeminent place for <br />living, learning, raising families and doing <br />business." This report addresses why hous- <br />ing matters and delivers a call to action, in- <br />cluding specific housing strategies and a <br />three-point action plan. <br />
