Create A Management <br />Structure To Implement The <br />Housing Succession Plan. <br />Successful implementation of the <br />Housing Succession Plan will re- <br />quire an entity with long-term re- <br />sponsibility and accountability. <br />This entity will be responsible for <br />overseeing the implementation of <br />the strategies, developing a spe- <br />cific plan for each strategy, creat- <br />ing and monitoring accountability <br />measures, and continuing to en- <br />gage residents. <br />This entity could take the form of <br />any number of organizational <br />Edina Housing Task Force <br />DRAFT March 2006 <br />structures. A public -private hous- <br />ing commission could be created. <br />A city Commission might be cre- <br />ated. A city staff person could be <br />assigned. The entity's form should <br />depend upon the housing recom- <br />mendations it is being asked to <br />implement. The Task Force will <br />develop a specific recommenda- <br />tion for creating a management . <br />structure once community feed- <br />back is obtained.
