CITY OF LAIC ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-089 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE TRUTH IN TAXATION <br />PUBLIC HEARING DATES FOR 2006 TAX LEVY <br />WHEREAS, the City is required to set public hearing dates for the truth in <br />taxation hearing on the 2007 budget and tax levy; and <br />WHEREAS, these dates cannot conflict with those dates for school districts and <br />other taxing districts within the City of Lake Elmo or Washington County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City needs to set dates for the initial truth in taxation hearing <br />date, and a proposed continuation hearing date should one be necessary. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City of Lake Ehno <br />has set December 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. as the initial truth in taxation public hearing date <br />and December 11, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. as the continuation date for the truth and taxation <br />public hearing, if necessary, for the final adoption of the levy and budget. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on the 5th day of September, 2006. <br />Dean Johnston <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Martin Rafferty, <br />City Administrator <br />
