Issue #14 <br />We all want the businesses in the Old Village to thrive. <br />Comments have been made that there needs to be <br />some unspecified "critical mass" of people in the Old <br />Village for that to happen, thus justifying more housing <br />than the Thorbeck study. <br />Where is the published evidence that the Thorbeck plan <br />would NOT provide enough people, but that the <br />Engstrom plan WILL provide that unspecified "critical <br />mass"? <br />What is that unspecified number? <br />Anecdotal tales about this or that isolated town are NOT <br />sufficient evidence. <br />
