Cost of Living Increase <br />As outlined in the recently adopted personnel policy, employees are to receive a cost of living pay increase <br />as soon as those figures are made available. Any merit or pay increase will be considered at the time of the <br />employee's yearly evaluation, unless otherwise recommended by the City Administrator. As of January 12, <br />2000, The Bureau of Labor Standards reported that the national cost of living increase was 2.7%. The <br />Twin City cost of living increase was 2.6%. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/DeLapp —to approve a 2.6% cost of living increase for all full-time employees <br />retroactive to January 1, 2000. (Motion passed 4-0.) <br />B. Reschedule March 7, 2000 City Council meeting <br />The March 71h City Council meeting cannot be conducted on the day of a major political party precinct <br />caucus. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Siedow — to reschedule the March 7`h Council meeting to Wednesday, March S, 7 p.m. <br />because of the precinct caucus conducted on the same day.
