CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Mary Holmberg sent out schedule of meetings of Met Subcommittee of <br />legislative town meetings of Met Council operation and performance. <br />Community Days held on Saturday, September 23`d <br />Council member Dunn attended meeting on Thursday at Applewood Golf <br />Course where Professor Adams talked about urban sprawl. Ted Mondale did <br />not show up for the meeting. The trees are planted too close together in <br />Carriage Station and asked staff to inform the developer about the concern <br />so they do not lose trees and have to replant later. Washington County <br />adopted a Resolution terminating the uniform name and numbering street <br />system for Cottage Grove. <br />12.CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT: <br />A. Annual Staff Reviews <br />Administrator Kueffner reported her Laptop could be used by anyone <br />because she is getting a bigger computer because she needs more space. <br />Kueffner would like direction from Council on personnel issues at a <br />workshop. The Council set a September 27 workshop, 5 p.m. including <br />review of VC architectural guidelines. <br />B. E&H Earthmovers <br />The Council received copies of the November 2, 1999 Council minutes <br />when it denied several requests by Terry Emerson, E&H Earth <br />Movers/Trans City Investments for relocation of E&H EarthMovers. The <br />Council directed staff to call a workshop between the Council, PZ and VC to <br />discuss if the City wants to permit the relocation of the business. <br />Administrator will look into a workshop date or at a light agenda night at <br />Planning Commission meeting. <br />Council adjourn the meeting at 10:40 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 19, 2000 <br />
