Mayor Hunt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council <br />chambers. PRESENT: Siedow, Dunn, Hunt, Armstrong, DeLapp, <br />Administrator Kueffner, Planner Dillerud, City Attorney Filla, City Engineer <br />Prew, and Building Official McNamara <br />L AGENDA <br />M/S/P Dunn/Armstrong — to approve the December 19, 2000 City Council <br />agenda, as amended. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />2. MINUTES: December 5, 2000 <br />M/S/P Armstrong/DeLapp — to approve the December 5, 2000 City Council <br />Minutes, as amended. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />Question on fee split for burning permits: Of the $20 burning permit fee, the <br />City receives $10 and Fire Chief Malmquist receives $10 for visiting the site <br />for permit approval. <br />M/S/P Dunn/DeLapp — to adopt Resolution No. 2000-068, Claims # 18324 <br />through 18370 in the amount of $68,936.42. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIESANFORMATIONAL <br />A. Chris Dietzen on behalf of Reco, Inc Property <br />Mr. Dietzen stated he understood it was an oversight that he did not receive <br />a notice of the public hearing or City Council agenda when the Future Land <br />Use map was discussed. He wanted to discuss his client's desire to develop <br />the Reco property for commercial use. <br />Administrator Kueffner asked that the 10-page letter received from Attorney <br />Dietzen be postponed until the City Attorney and Council had time to review <br />the letter. Planner Dillerud indicated there would be no submissions to Met <br />Council or surrounding communities before this item has been discussed. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp - to accept the letter from Christopher Dietzen, <br />Larkin, Hoffinan, Daly & Lindgren, Ltd. on behalf of Reco Inc. for further <br />discussion. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />M/S/P Dunn/Siedow - to direct the staff to review correspondence and <br />prepare item for January 161h agenda.
