M/S/P Siedow/Dunn — to adopt the submitted 2000 pay plan. (Motion passed <br />3-2:Armstrong would like more information; DeLapp gets mixed signals <br />with proposed COLA.) <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Dunn — to establish a workshop on total employee <br />compensation the first quarter of 2001. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />Council member Dunn thought the City deleted the ($2000) donation for <br />community volunteers services. <br />M/S/F Siedow/Dunn — to take out the $2000 for community services. <br />(Motion failed 1-4:Dunn, Hunt, Armstrong, DeLapp: This is too late in the <br />game to change the budget for this.) <br />M/S/P Dunn/Siedow — to suggest sliding the $2000 from Community <br />Volunteer Services over to a building reserve. (Motion passed 5-0). Council <br />member Armstrong said this budget has too many reserves and next year she <br />will not vote for this amount in reserves. <br />M/S/P Siedow/Dunn- to adopt Resolution No. 2000-065, A Resolution <br />Approving the Proposed 2000 Tax Levy, Collectible in 2001, General Fund <br />$1,427,500.00, Levy $1,427,500.00. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />F. Tartan Park Sign Replacement Plan <br />The City received a letter from Wayne Sandberg, Traffic Engineer for <br />Washington County regarding a proposal made by 3M to replace all road <br />signs on the noted roads in the Tartan Park area. 3M has offered to pay for <br />these signs, an estimated cost of $1700 with the City picking up the <br />installation cost of approximately $500. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Armstrong — to advise Washington County of Lake Elmo's <br />desire to accept the offer made by 3M for the replacement of signs within <br />the Tartan Park Area, and check into if our maintenance dept. can put up <br />signs, then do it.
