(Motion passed 5-0.) <br />2. MINUTES: January 2, 2001 <br />M/S/P Armstrong/DeLapp — to approve the January 2, 2001 City Council <br />minutes, as amended. (Motion passed 4-0-lAbstain Mayor Hunt) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />Membership in Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce: Council member <br />DeLapp questioned membership because the city is not a business and <br />therefore not appropriate to join. Council members Armstrong and Dunn <br />were not in favor of joining. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/DeLapp - to remove $300 claim for Stillwater Chamber <br />from claims list until discussion under City Council Reports, to approve <br />Resolution No. 2001-03 Claim No. 18404 through 18454 in the amount of <br />$69,507.74. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />4. PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL <br />A. Presentation by Lake Elmo Jaycees of Thermal Imaging Camera to Fire <br />Dept. <br />Randy Wagner, Lake Elmo Jaycees, presented an $18,500 check for a new <br />thermal -imaging camera to the Lake Elmo Fire Dept. About a dozen <br />members of the fire dept., including Chief Greg Mamlquist was present for <br />the presentation and thanked the Jaycees for the wonderful donation. <br />Malmquist said his crews would receive training with the camera over the <br />next month before its put to use. <br />B.
