The Council asked the City Administrator to write a letter, which will be reviewed by the <br />Council for its comments, and sent to these firms asking what strategic service could they <br />provide and how would they deliver services efficiently to our residents. The "Code of <br />Conduct for Elected and Appointed Officials" will also be included as an issue to be <br />discussed. Council member Armstrong added she didn't want to spend a lot of money on <br />this project. <br />C. Letter to Editor on repealing sales tax on local government purchases <br />The City received a memo from the League of Minnesota Cities asking that we participate <br />in the effort to repeal the sales tax on local government purchases. The Council supported <br />repealing this sales tax and would agree that the money would be better spent here meeting <br />our community and citizen's needs and priorities and will be stated in a letter sent to the <br />Editors of the three local newspapers. <br />D.
