Strategic Planning Letter <br />Mayor Hunt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council <br />chambers. PRESENT: Siedow, Dunn (arrived 7:10 p.m.), Hunt (departed <br />9:45), Armstrong (arrived at 7:06 p.m.), DeLapp, Administrator Kueffner, <br />City Attorney Filla, City Engineer Prew, Maintenance Foreman Dan <br />Olinger, and Fire Chief Greg Malmquist <br />L AGENDA <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to approve the March 6, 2001 City Council agenda, <br />as amended. (Motion passed 3-0.) <br />2. MINUTES: February 20, 2001 <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp- to approve February 20, 2001 City Council minutes, <br />as amended. (Motion passed 3-0-1:abstain:Siedow). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Siedow/Dunn —to adopt Resolution No. 2001-10, Claim #18544 <br />through # 18586 in the amount of $44,164.28. (Motion passed 4-0.) <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIESANFORMATIONAL: <br />A.Public Inquiries: None <br />B. Vacancy on Browns Creek Watershed <br />The City received a notice from Washington County advising us of a <br />vacancy on the Brown's Creek Watershed District Board of managers. This <br />notice was passed on to residents living within the District. <br />C. Capt. Johnson, Washington County Sheriffs Dept., provided the <br />Council a summary on accident data. Serious accidents are low per the <br />amount of traffic. Passing on the right in the right turnlane is being enforced. <br />The officers assigned to Lake Elmo are doing a good job. <br />Council member Dunn suggested reinforcing stop sign education.
