CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br />Mayor Hunt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council <br />chambers. PRESENT: Siedow, Dunn, Hunt, Armstrong, DeLapp, Attorney <br />Filla, City Engineer Prew, Finance Director Berg, Planner Dillerud, <br />Administrator Kueffner, Fire Chief Malmquist, and Public Works <br />Supervisor Dan Olinger <br />L AGENDA <br />M/S/P Hunt/Siedow — to approve the November 7, 2001 City Council <br />Agenda, as amended. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: October 16, 2001 <br />M/S/P Dunn/Armstrong — to approve the October 16, 2001 City Council <br />minutes, as amended. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />Council member DeLapp asked if this is standard City use for employees to <br />use their own vehicles. Administrator Kueffner responded if there is not a <br />City vehicle to use, they get reimbursed for mileage, 34.5 cents a mile. This <br />claim will be on a monthly basis. The question raised was should the City <br />have a policy for personal use of vehicles? If a personal truck is used over <br />50% of the time on the job, then we should have MAC look at a policy. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Siedow - to adopt Resolution No. 2001-097, Approving <br />Claim Numbers 19276 through 19331in the amount of $123,717.69. <br />(Motion passed 5-0.) <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Dunn - to direct the staff to look into the personal use of <br />vehicles, availability of vehicles and have MAC look into a policy. <br />Timeframe for Maintenance Advisory Commission to be met. (Motion <br />passed 5-0). <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Dunn - this item will be discussed at Tuesday, November <br />13th workshop.
