Ll <br />Administrative Kueffner explained before comp time accrual was unlimited, and we <br />should have a control mechanism in place. There are employees that have at least 20 days <br />of vacation. A full maintenance crew is needed in the summertime. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Armstrong — to approve the amendment allowing accrual of up to 16 hours <br />of Comp Time to the City's July, 1999 Personnel Policy. (Motion passed 4-0). <br />Mayor Hunt suggested that in the next six month staff should compare policies from <br />other cities on paid holidays, comp. time accrual, and vacation days. <br />B. Administrative Fines for Sales of Intoxicating and Non -Intoxicating Liquor to <br />Minors <br />At its February 5th meeting, the Council reviewed a draft ordinance and directed staff to <br />make changes relating to the amount of administrative fines. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Dunn — to adopt Ordinance No. 97-101 and Ordinance No. 97-102 setting <br />the administrative fines for the sale of non -intoxicating and intoxicating liquor to minors. <br />(Motion passed 4-0). <br />The Council asked that Old Business be added to the Council agenda <br />7. MAINTENANCE/PARK/FIREBUILDING: <br />A. Update on Maintenance Dept. Activities: Dan Olinger <br />Dan Olinger reported road weight restrictions went into effect on Monday, February 28, <br />and these load limits will be on for 8 weeks. At the next meeting, he will bring updated <br />charges for Clean -Up day. The woods chips have been picked up from maintenance and <br />transported, except for woodchips for our own use in Sunfish Park <br />B. Update on Building Dept. Activities: Jim McNamara <br />Jim McNamara reported there were 8 new residential permits and one new commercial <br />permit issued in January 2002. There are 7 complaints from 2001 that have been carried <br />over to 2002. Jim received a building permit application for the address on Hidden Bay <br />signaling a long standing issue regarding a house addition will be resolved. He was <br />asked to send a letter to the resident on Lake Jane Trail who has been piling brush on <br />neighbor's property. <br />8. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. 5-Yr. Street CIP <br />City Engineer Tom Prew provided a list of street needs over the next five years after <br />reviewing our street inventory, a field inspection of the streets and by looking at other <br />expected City upgrades.
