B. Employee Evaluation: Tom Bouthilet <br />Administrator Kueffner recommended Tom Bouthilet be classified as a Secretary A and <br />that he be placed at Step 1 of the 2002 Pay Plan. She further recommended that Tom be <br />assigned a certain amount of hours each month to assist the Fire Dept. with its clerical <br />duties. Therefore, the Fire Department will be paying a portion of his wage from its <br />budget. <br />M/S/P Dunn/DeLapp βto approve the wage of $2,611 per month for Tom Bouthilet, <br />based on a favorable review and recommendation of the City Administrator. (Motion <br />passed 5-0.) <br />12. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Mayor Hunt stated the city has a contract with Sand Creek to kick off process for a <br />governing study. Cincinattis has a very good reputation and Hunt will talk to them about <br />proposal, scope, and timetable and ask if they can attend a meeting on April 23'd at 5:30 <br />p.m.. <br />M/S/P Siedow/Dunn β to direct Mayor Hunt to contact Cincinattis and ask them to appear <br />at the April 23`d, 5:30 p.m. workshop and have Mayor Hunt meet with them prior and fill <br />in with what Council is interested in on services provided, timeframe and cost. (Motion <br />passed 5-0.) <br />Mayor Hunt will send out the location, date and time of the next Mayor's meeting on the <br />Highway 36 Corridor. <br />Council member Dunn asked that the City be vigil on monitoring the construction of the <br />new SAHS stadium, and its impact on the Browns Creek Watershed and VBWD. <br />Council Member Siedow stated he is against the renaming of the Lake Elmo Airport; <br />there is a misrepresentation by the group that wants to change the name. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Siedow β that the City reconsiders the renaming of the Lake Elmo Airport <br />based on the finding that there is no support for changing the name of the airport. <br />(Motion passed 5- 0.) <br />Council adjourn the meeting at 9:55 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted by Sharon Lumby, Deputy Clerk <br />Resolution No. 2002-023 Approve claim numbers 21439-21476 sued for payroll and <br />claim numbers 21477-21530 in the amount of $51,307.62 <br />Resolution No. 2002-024 Award Sale of $340,000 General Obligation Improvement <br />Bonds, Series 2002A <br />Resolution No. 2002-025 Approving Charitable Gambling License for Lake Elmo <br />Jaycees <br />Resolution No. 2002-026 Designating Precincts and Polling Place Locations <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES APRIL 16, 2002 11 <br />
